Leaving for Japan tomorrow morning so I'm supposed to reach Changi Airport around 11+ tonight. Been shopping around for omiyage, drying and ironing my clothes (I can do housework okay!) and packing my luggage. Up till now, 6.40pm, my luggage is almost 20kg already. WTF?! How did I manage to stuff so much junk into the luggage?! Must help my luggage lose weight =(

Anyway, I'll be bringing my laptop with me so I wont suffer from internet withdrawal symptoms while in Japan. Whee~

Edit
My omiyage's 5 freaking kilograms heavy. wtf.

Shopping~!

Did a little shopping yesterday and today. Bought books, leggings, dresses and cosmetics. Damn happy with my purchases but at the same time, I'm feeling really broke. I'm seriously in need of money. Please contribute to the "Save Jiahui Fund" by contacting me. Any amount will be appreciated.

Nah, just kidding. Then again, it wouldn't hurt. Lalala. Accompanied Donna for her interview at SMU yesterday (and to also do some shopping). While waiting at the bench outside SMU, because one cant enter the SMU building if you do not have a SMU pass(wtf), I saw quite a number of SMU students dressed up in formal wear. Seriously, it was 7+ in the evening and it's the freaking holidays for goodness sake! Wear something casual can! I know that there's summer term but did they really have to wear so nice for school? I don't even bother putting on a nice T-shirt for school lor. I wear crumpled old T-shirts to school. =D Then again, I'm not from SMU...and that's probably why I got weird "Oh-my-god-look-at-her-dressed-so-shabbily" stares from formal-wear-students.

Before going to SMU, we had a little tea break at Coffee Club Express...or whatever the shop was called. Ordered a chicken pie and iced mocha. The chicken pie was so freaking good and it was the first time that I was served a chicken pie that was already cut open. The filling was scrumptious but it tasted a bit like the chicken vegetable stew by Campbell that I love.

Not-so-secretly took a photo of Donna while she was erm...looking at her iced tea.

Didnt drink my iced mocha straight away when it arrived. When I finally got down to drinking it, some of the ice had already melted and my drink was basically overflowing, thus, dirtying the table. Damn paiseh and sorry to whoever who had to clean it up.

Went out today with Kym to Vivocity. Ate at Earle Swensen's. The salad buffet was not bad, the meat was passable but the vegetables was...horrible. Ice cream was delicious as usual. Hee. Walked around Vivocity and while at Nichii Fashion City, we saw this Lindsay Lohan t-shirt. Erm...damn old picture can.

Next, we went to Zara. Normally Zara stuff are like freaking expensive but as they were having a sale, prices were slashed by ALOT and so...I made my first ever purchase from Zara. Whee~ Had coffee at Starbucks and I never knew until today that there's two Starbucks outlets in Vivocity. Seriously, need so many outlets in ONE shopping centre meh?!

Okay, shall resume watching online videos. Lalala.
Besides venturing out of my house to eat like twice a week, I havent been going out alot recently. My routine for each day is prettty much similar.

Wake up in the noon > Reach for my handphone to disable the alarm that I fail to hear every morning > Roll over and grab my laptop by my bed > Check mail > Watch online videos > Check mail > Chat > Check mail > Eat brunch or something > Check mail > Shower > Check mail > Watch online videos > Eat dinner > Continue using the laptop till 4am in the morning or so > Sleep

I seriously do not have a life lar! I check mail like every other hour or something and even though I know there's no mail for me, I still do so anyway...because I have nothing else better to do. Hope that this week would be better.

Anyway, went to pick my sister up at the budget terminal today and had dinner there as well...at 12 midnight. wtf. Who eats dinner at 12 midnight?! Initially, I just wanted a snack or something so I ordered a blueberry pie but ended up sharing this smelly steak with my sister. Food at the budget terminal is so not cheap...considering that the food wasn't really that nice. By not nice, I'm referring to the steak only, the pie was passable.

Speaking of pie, the reason why I ordered pie was because I had this weird craving for it after watching Pushing Daisies. I've wanted to watch Pushing Daisies ever since I was in Korea and saw like what, 5 minutes of it on television. Finally got down to watching all 9 episodes of Season 1 yesterday night and I'm seriously hooked onto it. The storyline's pretty weird but interesting and I love how colours are used on that show. Show seems unreal yet real at the same time. Cant really explain the exact feeling but yea, it's a cool show and I love the lady who acts as Olive Snook~Great voice and she looks damn good for her age. Can't wait for Season 2 to be out.

Cute fan that I saw at Best Denki IMM. Yar...totally pointless but whatever. I'm always pointless.

Yup, end of entry. Shall resume watching online videos. Whee~

Scholarship~

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)
Whee~ I got the JASSO scholarship for a short-term study in Japan! I am so happy because that means I got more money to spend in Japan! Heh. No lah, it means that my parents don't have to pay so much money for my school fees there. See, I'm such a nice daughter...........Ok lah, and also because I can spend more in Japan. =D

So, I'm going for this student exchange programme thingy to Osaka this coming semester. A little scared about this whole study overseas thing, although it's for one semester only, because I've never done it before. One sucky thing about it is that there's lots of preparation work to be done and I don't feel like doing it. Can I hire someone to do it for me? I'll promise to pay the person a lump sum of $0.20. Yes, I am giam siap. So what?

Nothing much to write except for the above two things because my life's totally boring recently. The only interesting thing is that I'm going to remove my stitches tomorrow. Whee~ How fun. -_-

Night at the hospital

| | Comments (4) | TrackBacks (0)
So, I underwent a minor surgery on Wednesday. Had to reach the hospital two hours prior to the surgery to do the necessary check-in procedures. When the lady asked me if I wanted to pay a deposit, I said "Ok, how much?" and was pretty shocked when she told me "Three thousand". Eh, since when was $3000 considered as a deposit? They had to refund me money after I got discharged lo. Anyway, the operating gown was freaking difficult to wear. First, I tried putting it on myself but realised that my butt was showing and then my sister helped me...but I almost got strangled in the process. Finally, we called the nurse in for help.

After waiting for 1 hour, I finally got wheeled into the holding room, where I was asked at least 4 times by 4 different people whether the signatures on the papers were mine. I think that they dont trust me. Hmmmph! No la, kidding. One of the nurses even asked me if I'm still in secondary school. Oiiiiiiiiiii! If I can sign the papers myself, it means that I'm at least 21 already. 21 still in secondary school abit paiseh right!
Anyway, chit-chatted with the nurses in the operating room while waiting for the doctor to arrive. The operating room was damn chio can! The lights looked like half a disco ball and the radio was switched on somemore. As this was my first surgery, I asked one of the nurses how it's like to get anaesthetised. Guess what she told me...."Have you taken ecstasy before? Something like that." Ehhhhhhhhh!
The operation took less than an hour and in an hour's time after getting anaesthetised, I woke up, without feeling drowsy at all. The nurses even commented that I looked damn awake. -_-

The first feeling that I had after surgery wasn't "Ouch" but rather..."I'm freaking hungry". After starving myself from 8pm the previous night, i.e., no food and drinks for like almost 19 hours, I was seriously dying of hunger. The nurse gave me a cup of milo and told me that I might vomit it out due to the anaesthetia but...I finished it up. She then later gave me the dinner menu and said that I could order some soft food if I had no appetite. Look at the choices on the menu!!! Damn good lar~ Got Asian, Western and Japanese food. Actually, before the dinner menu came, my sister and mum came to visit and my sister brought LOTSA food along but my mum refused to let me eat them. =(

Dinner was alot of food to stomach. Main course, bread, miso soup and longan jelly.

Emince of Chicken in Brown Sauce. Damn fucking good. Got mashed potato somemore.

Felt a little bloated after dinner but couldn't really move around so I just laid on the bed and watch tv. After 2~3 hours, it was tea time~ So I stomached a piece of banana cake and washed it down with tea. Damn sinful can~ At around 11pm, my mum and sister came by again to bring me my facial foam and floss so that I could wash up before going to bed. My sister also brought along her Nintendo DS Lite where I played for a few hours before sleeping. I can never be a fish tycoon. Damn!

It was a little difficult sleeping in the hospital and I woke up every single hour. I had a little fever in the night but by the time I woke up in the morning, the fever had subsided. During the night, there was at least 2 blood pressure and temperature checks by the nurses. Wah...need to check so many times one ar!
Breakfast was served at 8am and I had cornflakes(yuck), a slice of mango, pastries and a cup of milk.

Watched somemore tv lying down after breakfast and pretty soon, the clock struck twelve and it was time for lunch. Lunch included miso soup, tea, fruits and salmon bowl. The salmon bowl was a little bland but hey, it's hospital food after all. Didnt manage to finish because my stomach was seriously bursting by that time.

Took a quick shower after lunch before packing my stuff and waiting to get discharged. So yup, end of hospital stay.

Gokusen 3/Zettai Kareshi

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)
As I've practically nothing to do these few days but to watch dramas, I actually stayed up till 7am to watch all 7 episodes of Gokusen 3 two days ago. OMG, I can't believe how fucked up my biological clock is right now. As for today, I finished watching Family Guy Season 6, watched two episodes of Super Rookie 2 and watched Zettai Kareshi up till episode 7. Wtf, I seriously need something to do...someone please ask me out for shopping, go to the gym, go makan...just ask me out to do something before I get stuck to my laptop.

Anyway, talking about Gokusen 3, when Takaki Yuya first appeared on screen, I was like..."wtf, isn't that Akanishi Jin's hairstyle in Gokusen 2?!" The hairstyle totally doesn't suit him as his face is just too small for it. Also, although he's like 18 already, he totally doesn't look like it so it's kind of weird that he's acting as someone who is the "head" of the class.
takakiyuya.jpg

Next, I think that Miura Haruma's hairstylist hates him or something. I know he's supposed to be a delinquent but hey, give him nicer hair can or not?! At least, try to blend the colours a little so that at least he doesn't look like as if he got a $1 dye job or something. Hair colour aside, I think that he's a really good actor. I initially thought that he couldn't act after seeing him in "14 Sai no Haha" but after watching this, I realised that hey, he portrayed his role quite well~.
miuraharuma.jpg

Compared to the previous seasons of Gokusen, I must say that the ikemen factor in Gokusen 3 is damn disappointing. Let's compare the cute guys in the 3 Gokusen seasons.
Gokusen 1: Oguri Shun, Matsumoto Jun, Narimiya Hiroki, Kamiji Yusuke and so on.
Gokusen 2: Koike Teppei, Hayami Mokomichi, Kamenashi Kazuya, Akanishi Jin and so on
Gokusen 3: Erm...can't really think of one. Okay, Ishiguro Hideo is kinda cute but not as cute as the guys in 1 & 2. =(
ishiguro.jpg

At least Yankumi's love interest is better looking this time round =D Lalala. Then again, storyline's starting to get a little boring because it's almost the same every season.
koizumigokusen.jpg

Moving on to Zettai Kareshi, can anyone tell me the procedure of getting a "01" myself? My god, Mokomichi is damn freaking ikemen in the show...the world is not fair okay. How come there's no Mokomichi lookalikes in Singapore?! I wanna go live in Japan. Lalala.

What a bimbotic post~ Whee~

Random post

Shall blog about the Korea trip in the next entry or something. Here's a little update on what's up with my life. I've been like shopping and shopping and shopping but still feel that I havent done enough shopping yet. Stupid Great Singapore Sale for bringing out the shopaholic in me. Besides shopping, I'm like seriously addicted to Family Guy and I watched the first 3 seasons in like less than a week and I'm going to start on the fourth one right after I finish this post. =D Whee~

Anyway, I finally decided to clear out my cupboard today so as to put my new purchases into it. My new clothes have been like hanging on my window and I do not get enough sunlight in my room because of it...not that I really want the sunlight shining in anyway. Weather has been pretty hot but at least it's not as humid as the past few weeks.

While clearing out my cupboard, I found the tiger cap that I bought from Everland 4 years ago, stuffed all the way at the back of my cupboard. Surprisingly, it's still white and clean...I think. Heh.

Roar~!!!

So ya, I played around with the tiger cap and forgot about clearing my cupboard for like...15 minutes? Yay~. God, I can't believe that I'm 21 years old already and still doing this kind of thing.

Toot-looking tiger.

Okay, back to business. I'm so proud of myself for throwing out so many clothes that I havent been wearing for at least a year or so. I don't even remember owning some of these clothes lo. -____-

Whee~ My cupboard is half-full only now~! Means can shop more!!! Woohoo! ......
Oh wait, have to put in all those clothes that are hanging from the window. Shit.

Dumplings Festival is coming soon and I think that my mum has gone mad or something. Look at the vast amounts of dumplings I have at home!!!

More dumplings. Everyday, either my father or my mum will ask me if I wanna eat dumplings or not. Urrrgh.

Totally random post. Sorry for wasting your time if you've read up till here. =D

Results are out~

| | Comments (1) | TrackBacks (0)
And finally, after waiting for like 1 freaking month since the end of my exams, the results are out!!! One thing I'm unhappy about the release of results is...why do we(read: Arts students, my batch) always get our results last?! It has been like that for the past 2 years lo. Damn it, made me wait so long.

So anyway, quite satisfied with my results considering that I started out very hardworking this semester and ended up totally slacking for the rest of it. I think I didn't read like what, 75% of the readings assigned, or maybe even more. An improvement from last semester, the results I mean, not the studying. I realise that I get better results without studying for it...does this mean I should slack even more? Heh~

Malaysia here I come!

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)
Going to Malaysia for a short trip tonight!!! Yay, can go visit my grandmother =D

My sister's bent on making me fatter. We did like lots of research on nice restaurants in Malaysia last night. Shit. I think I need liposuction soon. Anyone wants to sponsor me? Heh.

I think that this holiday would be a very good one. It started out with me going to Korea for 11 days, then now Malaysia for the weekend and next up would be Japan in July. Wahaha.

Note to self: Go find work once I come back from Malaysia because I'm really broke.
