Hiroshima Internship Programme Day 11~
Unlike the previous weekend, we had this weekend off so we could basically do whatever we wanted for 2 days. The others visited Miyajima while I went to find my homestay family whose house I stayed in in 2006.

After picking me up from the training centre, we had shabu-shabu for lunch at this little shop called PAN. The exterior of the shop was decorated with so many different kinds of flowers that I thought that it was a flower shop or something. Anyway, first time eating shabu-shabu. Damn delicious~, especially when dipped with the sesame sauce. OMG~

Mrs. Shinkawa =D

Me~

Dessert was sponge cake with vanilla ice-cream, one of the specialities of PAN. Coming from someone who's not a big fan of cakes, the dessert was sooo freaking good.

Went back after lunch and as you know, many Japanese families require you to wear slippers inside the house so here's my cute bunny slippers~!

As dinner was going to be gyoza, Okaasan, Obaachan and me started preparing for dinner once we got home. I totally suck at making gyoza. I can't make the nice "fan" shape that gyoza's supposed to have but instead, my gyoza looked more like soon kueh instead. wtf.

Frying the gyoza~

Gyoza getting cooked. OMG, can't wait to eat~

Obaachan, Okaasan.

Ta-da~ The gyoza's ready! Had a sense of accomplishment although I only wrapped the gyozas into some ugly non-gyoza-like shape. :P
In case if you were wondering, the gyoza was omg, so freaking crunchy and juicy~ Yum!
