Mid-Autumn Festival

Had a songpyeon making contest yesterday to celebrate the mid-autumn festival during Korean class. First of all, our teacher showed us how to make one.

Step 1 : Roll the dough into a ball.

Step 2 : Make a hole in it and add in the ingredients(sesame).

Step 3 : Seal the openings and shape it into a crescent-moon. Lastly, steam it and eat~!The songpyeon I made.

Songpyeon by my friend. OMG, so cute~! Goldfish-shaped and heart-shaped ones~ No wonder they they won the first prize.

Catherine, the maker of the cute songpyeon.

TOPIK 1 class.

The principal giving a speech.

My class got the 2nd prize.

The champions.

Obaka-san

Watched some Satoda Mai show just now and was rather wtf-ed by the characters on the show.

They had people dressing up as the obak a-san on Hexagon. The first one was Kouda Shin. This guy looks about the same as the real one so it's not that bad.

Next was Tsuruno Takeshi. Ok, not that bad but Tsuruno Takeshi doesnt look like that in real life.

Almost puked the mooncake that I was eating because Wakatsuki Chinatsu looks nothing like this at all. Then again, it was kind of funny. However, the next one was the best.

WTF?! Fukuda Saki?!

Cutting Cost

Was watching Goto Maki on Re:MTV (why do they call it Re:MTV anyway? It's so cheesy when they have sections that's starts with Re:.) just now. The way she was talking on the show sounded seriously like how Ayaya talks, except at a lower pitch. I could just shut my eyes and think that it's Ayaya on the show. She didnt use to talk like that in the past. Then again, she didnt use to act sexy or have big boobs in the past. However, I still kind of like her songs. :D

Watched episode 7 of Sexy Voice and Robo just now and it was damn hilarious! It's a wonder how I ended up falling in love with the show that I did not have high expectations for it in the first place. I am fickle-minded.

So the mid-semester break is finally here. Man, I've waited for this break for soooo freaking long. I really need the rest...although I suspect I wont get anyway. :(

Went to work yesterday and saw the new colleague. The new colleague's supposed to be in charge of selling stationery. Normally it would be good idea to have someone to be soley in charge of stationery if you are operating a bookstore. Then again, the place I'm working at is a tuition centre where people go to learn new knowledge and not to buy pens and pencils. Ok, occasionally we have little kids who buy them but...only a small handful do that! Why waste money hiring someone to sell stationery when the company keeps harping on cutting cost?! Somemore the new colleague was so bored that she ended up drawing pictures :( Is this cutting cost? No! This is just so stupid. They ask unqualified tutors like us to relief a class at a mere $10 per lesson because they want to save on hiring a qualified relief tutor but dont mind hiring a stationery seller who has nothing to do half the time. This is just absurd! I'm seriously going to decline reliefing classes from now onwards.

I'll end this short and meaningless post with pictures of food :D

Some eggplant macaroni I ate at Waraku. Damn good!

Sun and Moon's Macha Parfait. A bit pricey but worth every bit of the money. The taste is so matcha-y that it rocks! The best part, it has lots of shiratama in it and everyone knows that I love shiratama/dango/chewy stuff. What's the difference between shiratama and dango by the way? Besides the flour used to make it.

Forgot the name of this dessert but I ate it at Bistro Delifrance. It's some strawberry ice-cream + yam ice-cream + coconut + cherry dessert. The ice-cream was like the normal ice-cream you get to eat anywhere but I hated the cherry.

I'm a sucker for mussels with cheese so this seafood baked rice at Bistro Delifrance was positively amazing. Loved every single bit of it, even the pi-man.

Going to visit the high court tomorrow. Not that excited as I thought I would be when I signed up for it.

Bank of America

Was checking my mail when I saw that one of them was from 'Bank of America Security'. Since the title of the email was labelled as '**Bank of America Important Notice***', I decided to read it, just in case.

OMG!!! Someone has been trying to log in to my Online Banking account other than me! Hence, I need to re-confirm my account information with the bank by 18 September or else my account will be suspended. To aid me in doing so, they provided me with a link to update my information. Thanks so much...........

........MY FOOT.

First of all, why does the Bank of America Security Team have an email address that is update@yahoo.com ?!
Secondly, people trying to hack into my account is something serious, so, why is the customer service department signing off the email? In addition, isnt this email supposed to be from the security team?!
Thirdly, is there a Bank of America in Singapore?
Lastly, and the best of all, why am I receiving this email when I dont even have an account?!

So, I decided to click the link and see where it brings me to.

Okay, so it's probably authentic and I would have believed it if not for the fact that this 'fake site' warning popped out.

Click to enlarge. It's written in Japanese but it's basically a warning that the site might be a fake one to cheat people of their credit card information and so on.

So, I decided to log in and try. Not surpisingly, I was allowed to log in even though I typed rubbish for the log-in name and password because...I obviously dont have one. Next, I filled up the information that they wanted. Of course, I typed in crap. Click the following links to see what crap I wrote.

After I hit the submit button, they were kind enough to show a thank you message.
Thank you message

Wow, I've heard of online scams but I never thought that it would happen to me...someone who doesnt have a bank account to begin with.

Boring Life

Was watching Hotaru no Hikari just now and I laughed when Kamji Yusuke appeared...or at least I think it's him because it's not written anywhere that he appeared in this show. Then again, he only appeared for like less than 10 seconds, probably that's why nobody bothered mentioning.

Coffee Prince must be really popular in Korea because clubbox has an advertisment in the form of Coffee Prince. Speaking about clubbox, downloading has been like really slow lately and I totally hate it because it means that I've to leave my computer for a longer period of time.

Topik test is this Sunday and I've totally no clue about it. That's it, I'm just going to waste my $50 this time round. My dear teacher didnt even hesitate to tell me that it's going to be really difficult. Thanks~! It really HELPED.
Anyway, my life has been really boring of late and I'm kind of sick of school already. When can I finally graduate?!!!
