Went for the Botanical Gardens thingy today.

The weather was rather hot today but then again, isnt the weather always like hot in Singapore? So it basically didnt make a big difference. Assembled at Tanglin Gate where Chiba-sensei briefed us on what are the dos and donts. Do was to take pictures. Dont was to not take pictures of humans, meaning not to take pictures with friends. So obviously, no one bothered to adhere to the Dont rule.
Next, we then proceeded to walk all the way to the middle of Botanical Gardens to reach the Orchid Garden. Man...it was a freaking long walk la! First, we saw this swan lake with practically no swans in it, except for the humongous swan couple statue in the middle of the lake. Next, we saw lots of pretty flowers too :D

Finally reached the Orchid Garden and we were greeted by this really sweet fountain. Ok, it looks ugly here due to my stinky photography skills. Use your imagination.
Besides the NUS students, the rest of the people there were Caucasians la! There was this really cute little boy who looked really white, not in a sickly manner though. His complexion was fair(he's Caucasian what...) and his blond hair was seriously whitish-bond. He was walking towards us when Tan-san whipped out her camera. Guess what he did? He just stopped in his tracks as if to pose for our pictures! Totally unlike the China boy we took a photo of before him. The China boy didnt even want to face our camera and only did so when his grandparents encouraged him too. Guess that's the difference between Chinese and ang-mohs. Chinese tend to be more shy? Anyway, back to that Caucasian boy, when we walked passed him, he then turned back and smiled at us...aaaa...dying from his cuteness la! Ok, I think I should stop describing anymore lest anyone thinks I'm a paedophile.
Moving along, we ventured further into the garden into the Celebrity corner. Visit Botanical Garden, how can miss the Kwon Sang Woo orchid?! So I decided to search around for that orchid and I found it!!!

Ok la, I only took a picture of the nameplate, beats having nothing at all. If you look closely, you'll realise that they spelt his name wrongly. Funny thing is they spelt his name correctly for the plant species but spelt it wrongly when refering to him. To name a plant after one person, one has to first get the spelling of his name correct. Hmmn, maybe the next celebrity orchid will be Bi? Hee:D
This OUB 'We Created This Hybrid!' tag was like hanging all over la...like who cares! Spoil the scenery only...

Pretty flowers! Affectionately known as 'Singaporeans'. WTF?

Saw a squirrel there! Should've caught it home. Muhaha...just kidding. I might get scratched to death by it.

Hear no Evil, See no Evil, Speak no Evil.

Anyone interested in French kissing and would like to try?

Basically, the orchids there were freaking pretty and they had a nice smell. Never ever knew that orchids smelt so good.

Anyway, pictures have been uploaded into gallery. Go view if you want to. Will upload more when Tan-san sends me her photos.
